Complaint Review: Alpha Dumpsters

I was a repeat customer of alpha dumpsters until a problem with the last bin i received for a recent property.  The driver was told to call me when he was on his way so we could supply plywood and properly locate the dumaster in the driveway.  The driver failed to call,  dropped the dumpster without the use of plywood and placed it with the wheels hanging off the edge of the driveway.  My guys used a car jack to move the dumpster so the entire wheel was on the concrete.  Upon pickup the driver dragged the dumpster along the driveway for 18 feet instead of backing up the truck under the bin.  By dragging it he cracked 6' of the driveway.  

When I contacted the Owner, Stew Bacheler, he blamed me and said if I was a tuck driver then i would know.  My response, Obviously I'm not a truck driver that's why I hired you.  Figuring I had rented 6 bins in the last 8 months I assumed they would work with me.  Since the repair is only about $600 I was sure they would resolve my complaint,  instead the owner blamed me and refused to work with me.  All companies claim they are the best and have excellent customer service if you ever have a problem Until you actually have a problem. As for Stew Bacheler and Alpha Dumpsters they lack ethics, integrity and a willingness to resolve issues.  I guess it's off to court!
