Complaint Review: Alpha Exercise

Never received product, horrible customer service

I ordered a spin bike via website on 1/18/16.  Although I hadn’t heard of Alpha Exercise, I chose them due to the 10% off discount, free shipping and 2 CD’s that were included.  Big mistake.  I received a phone call from Clif, the owner of the company that night confirming my purchase, he stated my bike would ship Feb 2^nd and I would receive it about 2 days after that.  Everything seemed legit.  My credit card was charged right away.  Come 2/4, I tried to track my shipment via website, there wasn’t an option to do so, so I reached out via email to confirm the bike had shipped.  I did not receive a response until 2 days later that said ‘Your bike will ship 2/15’. 

I replied asking for an explanation as to why the date had been pushed out so far and for a peace of mind guarantee that it would not be pushed out again.  I never heard from anyone again.  After several emails & voicemails over the course of two weeks, I was completely ignored.  I contacted my credit card company and requested a refund.  To this day, I haven’t received any response or apology as to what happened. 

Beware of this small business, as they do not provide the ‘outstanding customer service’ and ‘timely order processing’ promised on their website.  I was not able to find any reviews good or bad about the company, and I hope this review helps anybody who is considering using them.  I re-ordered my bike through a reputable retailer and received it within 1 week.  Definitely worth the extra $40 in my opinion.
