I have used this company on three occasions and each time the level of service was not delivered as promised. I had short layovers with almost impossible connection times, missed International flights because they planned clearing customs poorly and had many other problems.

The last experience with them final straw and I will never do business with this company again.   I had a flight scheduled to Florence Italy with them to go to a cooking school.   I needed to reschedule and was told I would receive a refund to my credit card less a $250 cancellation fee.   I rescheduled my class based on this information.

The manager then changed his story and said it would be a credit directly with Delta and they could not issue a credit.   I paid $3500 for the ticket and was then told the credit would be $2800.00.   Since it was with Delta they had no control over it.   I asked them to simply book me on another flight at my new time and I'd be satisfied with that.   They came back saying it would be an additional $3600 to change the flight.   I stated that was the cost of a new ticket and completely ridiculous and I would never do business with them again.

The managers’ manager (Leo) then called and stated he would like to try and work this out.  Now the credit was for $2020.00 directly with Delta   I told him give me the airline credit and I'll never do business with your company again.  I asked for everything in writing since everything I was being told or promised kept becoming a "bait and switch".   He said he would get it for me and it would just take a little bit of time and please give him a week or two.   He requested that before I use my airline credit with Delta, that I give them one more shot to make it right.

After two weeks I contacted Leo again only to have the story and terms change yet again.  He now said it was a credit directly with Alpha Guru and could be used through them.  I became very angry saying I was clear I was never doing business with your company again and I would pursue this through online sites like Ripoff report and the Better Business Bureau if they did not honor their word.   At this point I had zero trust and wanted a credit card refund.

I was then contacted my their general counsel, Chris Miller who was rude and threatening.   He stated it was not their responsibility to give me a refund (which it was since I was their customer).  Mr. Miller stated he had negotiated a refund from the consolidator directly to me but it would take a month or two.   Yet another stall tactic which I'm quite sure in 2 months, he would deny the conversation and again take no responsibility for this being Alpha Guru's problem.

I do not trust this company to honor anything they say so I'm seeking outside assistance in resolving this.  I am seeking an immediate refund in the amount of $3500 which are the fees I paid directly to Alpha Flight Guru.
