I am a reputable C Level Executive that Lives in Utah and ended up buying a truck from a dealership who introduced me to this "new warrentee program" they were selling in fact so new I was their first sale. Well I should have know if its to good to be true it probably is.

I bought a dodge ram 2500 Turbo Deisel Truck and only under one condition; it had an extended warrentee. Well when I was introduced to Alpha Warrenteees I was scheptical . they are a newer company that ids offereing warrenties and i had never hard of them. Also as i read their coverage plan for $3,000 it just seemed like it was to good to be true! for that price and what they were willing to cover i had no doubt that over the 5 years and or 100,000 mile warentee they were going to have to pay out more than I was puting in.

I was so nervous that the dealership had to call their Alpha rep 3 times and infact he actually came down to the lot and looked at the vehicle and recomended personally that i go with the hefty package and also made sure ai checked the box that covered the lift kit costing me aditional dollars to be covere but it wsa worth it at the time.

6 month later here I am.... it took the adjuster 3 days to get to the shop after the call was made for an inspection (yes they will stall on any claim over $300.00) and then on top of that he took another 24 hours to send in the reprot. I was so FRUSTRADED!! Little did i know this was going to get worse..... the claim was for a new transmission and it was $4,200-$5,800 and I only paid $3,000 for the warentee. The truck was less than 10,000 miles in my posession and was EXACTLY in the same condition as it was when i bought it, the same condition that  their rep, yes ALPHA Warrentee's rep, saw the truck and then recomended contractual specifics to the selling dealership and me and asured me they would take GOOD care of me.

Well WRONG, they are suckers and dishonest. I have never been treated so poorly. They denied the claim... why?... brecause it is 1.4 inches to high based on tread and lift it package!! REALLY! THEIR rep saw the truck with his own eyes we called him because I was questioning their credability being they were somewhat new.

the delaer ships owner even called Alpha and witnessed the visit by the rep and the recomendation and they are completely dismissing it and taking no responsability. Funny how had it not been a big claim they would have shurly piad the small amount and kept my $3,000 but ounce it turns into a true customer insurance benifit, they are wiggling out of it! Not only did they deny the claim but they also said they are refunding the money and canceling the contract becaus it should have never been sold to me.

I am soooo angry, i have already retained an attorney because I cant let them just do this to people. the right thing to do would be to swallow your pride and own the mistake. I have been in MANY situations where my employees have promised things and or made mistakes and as a company you have to own those and do whats right. Well not ALPHA. infact i was on the phone and asked to speak to an exec. and they dsaid they wouold not talk to me even if they had passed my information on?!!! I said even under the circumstances of what has taken place? I deserve a call and explination?!?! under normal contractual terms yes t is what it is but being that THEY had a rep thats still works for them come aout meet us consult us, look at the same truck and then recomend their package and somehow not feel resposable for that is totally dishonest.

The only answer I got from them was they were refunging my purchase and there was no way anyone who could make decisions would be calling me?!? again total disrespect, lack of ownership, completely dishonest and just SHADY bad business!! Feel Free to contact me with any questions. Please if they try to post and repond to the issue dont let them misslead you that i some how have twisted the story or that it was someone elses fault. I am being 100% honest about this Go with another company its not worth the trouble and lack of respect!! sorry about spelling errors i flew through this before i have to get on a flight and am on my Ipad.

Claim Was Covered! Transmission Covered at a Cost of $1782.33

We are disappointed to hear that this customer is frustrated with their recent claim. It’s important to point out that we actually covered this claim, but we will provide information on the circumstances surrounding his initial concern. On September 16th, it was reported by the customer’s repair facility that the 4th gear in the transmission was not working.

This customer does correctly point out that they had the lift kit surcharge applied when they purchased the service contract. The lift kit surcharge clearly points out that it is limited to vehicles with a 6” lift or smaller. Unfortunately, during the inspection process it was determined that this vehicle had a total lift, between the lift and oversized tires, of nearly 8”. The contract only offers coverage on vehicles with lifts of 6” or less. It’s important to point out that the 6” lift option is something that is beyond normal offerings. In fact, the manufacturer warranty would deny a claim for any lift kit at all, while we provide coverage on vehicles with up to 6” when the surcharge is applied.

Having said that, this is actually a claim that we covered! It’s true that initially the claim was denied for the above mentioned reason, but we are happy to say that upon second review we were able to extend coverage to the customer despite the issue mentioned above and cover $1782.33 to pay for the cost of repairs.

We regret his frustration but wish to point out that these complaints filed online amount to less than .001% of all service contracts that we provide. We have an A+ rating with the BBB and have been chosen as a top service contract provider by several companies.
