Moved 2 houses from TX to AZ. in June & July 2005 Was 1-3 weeks later than contracts stated. Took deposit on 3rd house, $4750 & never moved it. Had to hires someone else 3.5 months later
Rarely answered phone & then claimed he was on the road & we we breaking up. Rarely answered emails & then they were excuses & empty promises. Sent letter by snail mail, reported to Benton Co TN Police, State Dpt of Commerece, Proterctmyhouse.gov & the FBI.
We are not the only ones. There are many but another was willing to tell his story of disater with Raines on the website - this man lost about $8800 & Raines literally abandonded his home in a parking lot! www.MobileHome-Mover.com.
In addition to the $4750 deposit, Alphie Scott Raines caused us to loose over $2000 in rent as this home was to replace an old rental mobile... the tenants had to move out for 4 months instead of 1.

Am updating because I spelled this guy's nick name wrong! Alfie not Alphie. Scott Allen "Alfie' Raines is still a crook by any name.
