Frank Mann of Alta Log Homes is a liar and a subversive businessman. He is not to be trusted. You can read one such horror story if you google frank Mann and marirose and their story is very similar to what we experienced. This person will be friendly and personable to your face and then run and stab you in the back and not take responsibility for his actions. Do not spend a penny with this company as whatever you spend with him will cost 2-3 times more in trying to fix their homes. Uneven foundations, leaking roof, leaning walls, costs more to fix than to build with all the shoddy work done by their recommended contractors and their substandard log cabin kits not having subfloors and missing footings just to name a few. Frank Mann is the ultimate liar and con artist.

My wife and I had a vacation log home built by Alta last year and our expience with Frank Mann was exactly the opposite of what was reported on this site. We have nothing but praise for the quality of the building and the construction. Frank Mann was a pleasure to deal with and was exceptionally honest in all our dealings. I can't believe the person who wrote the negative review iwas talking about the same Frank Mann that we dealt with.
I have no hesitation recommending Frank Mann and his company. Believe me he is a pleasure to do busiess with.
