Complaint Review: Alton davis

Alton davis I was notified by my sister that a company had some very time sensitive material that needed my attention. When I got off the phone with her, I noticed I had a voicemail from the same exact company that had just called her.

They said I needed to call immediately because a courier was having difficulty serving me papers. So I called the number given to me and a man answered repeating what my voicemail said then said he had to forward me to a case manager. The "case manager" gets on and says I haven't responded within my 30 days and that I have a court hearing next week. I ask how is that when I never received/signed for any papers.

He said I didn't need to sign, the several letters they sent in the mail regarding my hospital bills was the notice I was given. I said ok then I will call the clerk of court and ask them if I have a hearing next week. He then became disrespectful once he realized I wasn't falling for his scam. He then said to me "pay your bills next time and this wont happen" I said ok I'll see u in court. He then yelled "yeah make sure u show up too and try and wear something nice if u can afford it" and hung up. I called the courthouse and sure enough there is no hearing. This is obviously a new tactic they are using to scare people.
