ALW Sourcing - NCO Group Ollegal "Hard Inquiry" on Trans Union Report Horsham Pennsylvania
First and foremost. I have good creit reports, and pay my bills on time. I also subscribe and receive from Experian monthly updates to include all 3 national credit bureaus. I received an alert the other day 1-10-08 and found an inquiry at Trans Union from a company named ALW Sourcing. I called Experian and was advised to contact Trans Union directly and find out who authorized this credit inquiry. Not being an expert, I found out that they made a "Hard Inquiry" which effects your credit score. I explaned to the representative from TransUnion that this inquiry was not authorized by me, written or verbal. There response, we can't do anything about this, contact the company directly.
Went online to search this company out and came across your website. My eyes were opened by the number of complaints about NCO and ALW and their illegal practices.
Went to the fcc website/consumer complaints and files a report to include past government fines illegal practices. It is apparent that this company is ruthless. Today 1-16-08 I received a reply from the FCC, and bascially the response didn't resolve a thing, just explains your rights.
I have no idea as to why they are targeting me, but I will not allow these people to harass me and ruin my good credit. Any help in handling this problem in a professional way would be greatly appreciated.

You need to file with the FTC, not fcc. Debt collection stuff is an Fed Trade Commission issue, not communication. Anyway, contacting either one won't result in anything, don't bother.
Instead, file with Attorney Generals office in the state NCO is based in which is PA, you can file a complaint online and you will hear back from them, unlike the ftc or your probably own states AG.

This is the standard reply from TU. Why? Because they get paid by scum such as ALW/NCO etc.
Don't give up. Just keep after TU and threaten legal action unless they can provide a copy where you authorized the HI. They can't and won't.
After several submissions by me to them they finally sent me a notice that the inquires in question do not appear on my report. This after they had removed same.
Be sure you keep copies of reports showing these ILLEGAL HI's. They could be worth some money and I would suugest whatever you recover be donated to this site.
