yesterday, I was contacted by Kathy Varbour claiming to be collecting $59.95 for a credit report that I supposedly ordered over the internet. When I denied that I ordered or received it, she told me the last four digits of my social security number and said she doubted that anyone else had done it. when I told her I intended to file complaints with the FTC, Illinois Attorney General and the Credit Bureaus she got belligerent and threatened to have her client take this to the "next level".

When I asked her for the name and number of ther "client" she refused. She called me from 312-604-3730 but gave a call back number of 866-5050-2632 extension 3730.

I filed a police report, an FTC complaint, a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General and the Consumer Fraud Department of Chicago, a credit watch with the credit bureaus, and, sent letters disputing this charge to the three credit bureaus.

I complained to the Illinois Attorney General's Office about First Credit of America a/k/a Alyon. I received a letter from the Attorney General dated 9/27/05 with a copy of a letter from the attorney of 1st Credit of America. The letter states that "in light of the debtor's dispute with the creditor, My Perfect Credit, the account has been removed from our client's collection list."
