Complaint Review: Alyon

I have just recently discovered that my computer is making calls by itself. I haven't got a clue as to what I'm being charged for, nor was I even home on the day and time in question.

There is a chance that I may have left my computer online on the day and time in question. I was charged $58.68 for 12 min premium web content and was not even here. I have been online only since april 1st,2003 and have neverused internet service before. how they got to dial out from my computer is truly a mystery to me, because I never authorized anything like that to take place!

my really computer literate friend says that once they obtain access to my computer that somehow my dial-up in overridden by one that(in this case, alyon) created it can dial up that connection itself. I'm not sure I understand, but I am becoming more vigilant about bringing up my dial-up connection from time to time to verify that noone else is using my computer without my knowledge.

by reading the other ripoff reports it makes me understand that I am not alone in this fight to rid these ripoff companies from doing business.
