WSAU--Channel 7 in Wausau, Wisconsin has also done their investigation of Alyon, Here is their report:

Virus Bills for Pornographic Web Site.

About a week and a half ago Robert Skilton found a link to a sex Web site on his computer.

Two days later Skilton received a bill charging him $288 for access to the site. The problem was, the bill was broken down into minutes.

The Chief Technician at Datawave Technologies says it's a common (censored).

Someone will unwittingly download a virus from an Email or a Web site. The virus will disconnect your modem phone line and make calls to a 1-900 number.

The virus does this silently and without evidence. You don't know until the bill comes in the mail.

Skilton's bill came from a company called Alyon Technologies. The Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection is investigating 57 complaints about the company."

57 COMPLAINTS JUST IN THAT AREA ONLY. THINK HOW MANY COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN FILED NATIONALLY BOGGLES THE MIND.
