Complaint Review: Alyon Technologies

Like others here, I have been victimized. A popup about "Nude Celebrities" came up in front of my teeneged daughter. She tried to close it, definitely did not attempt to install any software (if you would even call their spyware "software"). Nevertheless they installed their malicious spyware/software on my computer and apparently used it to invisibly dial calls that none of us were aware of, much less asked for.

They're guilty in my opinion of sending unsolicited pornography to a minor, of sabotaging my computer, of (censored) billing me. Sounds like cyber-terrorism to me. I'm really heartsick to hear that they've been doing this for some months now and that no one has stopped them.

hat they are able to use Police officers' statements to state untruths and defend themselves against complaint. That the New Jersey Better Business Beurea rates them as "satisfactory". That the wheels of justice turn this slowly when the word "computer" comes into the mix. That our federal and state agencies are so ineffective as to allow this to continue for some months.

I'm really disgusted. It's obvious that these guys will be shut down by the FTC. Meanwhile they are shaking down large amounts of money from the helpless, and undoubtably laundering it overseas. For all we know it goes straight to Al Quaida. Whoever it goes to, the fact that it is going at all, after all these months, really disgusts me. we deserve better from our government than this; this is the equivalent of being mugged right in front of a police officer, while he smiles and watches.
