March 24, 2003 - Recieved a bill in the mail from Alyon Technologies in Norcross, GA. The bill was itemized reflecting four entires on two separate dates. Two of the four entries were for time spent on some adult website @ $4.99 per minute and two of the entries on the bill issued a .10 cent credit. The number that was alledgedly dialed for their adult services was (201)553-4709.

Logic told me to call the customer service number on the bill and explain that an error had been made. Looking at the "800" number I realized it was 2 numbers short of being a valid number. The number on their invoice was: (800) 269-63.

Further examination of the invoice showed that the bill came from Norcross, GA, (a PO box) but payments should be sent to their address in Elizabeth, NJ (another PO box).

To top it all off they only got half of my first name on the bill. I have no intention of paying a bill for services not requested nor received. Appropriate authorities will be contacted.

The funny part of this scenario is that I was at work when these calls were allegedly made. That is something that is not difficult to document.
