On Jan 23, 2003 I received a invoice from Alyon Tech. Premium web content-adult. Their invoice states I must pay by Jan 29, 2003 or "Failure to pay the amount due may result in your account being forwarded to a collection agency, at which time all means legal and property may be utilized to recover the amount due."

Upon further inspection of the invoice I realized I was being billed at a phone number I no longer had and hadn't had for more than 4 yrs. I called the 800 number on the invoice and got a recording suggesting I go to their web site.

At their web site I found another 800 number and called it. The first person I spoke with asked if I was calling from the United States "Yes" please hold while I get you the right person.

I finally spoke with Ben at extension 113 and explained they had the wrong person. Ben explained the only way to avoid the charge was to submit a letter because of some "Telephone Disclosure & Dispute Resolution Act."

The letter must include my new phone number and a letter from the phone company stating the number on Alyon's invoice was not mine.

Well, I haven't paid and I did report them to the attorney general in Washington State. I strongly recommend anyone who gets a bill from this company do the same.

What a waste of time and energy---We should be billing Alyon.
