They billed me for 410.00 for sites they say I connected to and agreed to them billing me. I didn't want to use there service they pushed down software that kept connecting me without me knowing it. Finally I ran software to remove the software they installed. It stopped and three weeks they sent me a bill that I had no ideal what I was being billed for.

"You Are Not Alone" - Ways To Protect Yourself In The Future and What You Can Do Now

#2Consumer Suggestion

Tue, June 17, 2003

(1) The reports given by individuals, like yourself, that have been victimized by ALYON TECHNOLOGIES, on ripoffreport.com, have many suggestions on what you should do about dealing with Alyon Technologies. Read as many as you can and jot down websites where to report this company--then do it.

(2) Take heart because you are in the company of over 1200 other people that have filed complaints on this website against ALYON TECHNOLOGIES, not to mention the 1200 that have reported it the FTC. Every complaint helps to add weight to the anchor that will soon sink ALYON TECHNOLOGIES.

JOKE:

What are the top 5 employees of the ALYON TECHNOLOGIES in a 4x8" jail cell called?....... A good start.

(3) Read the Update I filed in my report tomorrow. Look on the right side of the Alyon Reports, locate 6/13/03 from Ava, Illinois. I typed several email addresses collected from this website. Jot them down and start typing complaints.

(4) Download Spybot from www.spybot.com. Get the "Advanced Mode" and learn how to operate it. It will take a few minutes of your time but it's better than $500 phone bills. Spybot is free and it will stop websites from secretly downloading DIALERS to your computer.

(5) Download Zone Alarm. http://zonealarm.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp -- This will also protect your computer from these vampire DIALERS.

(6) Download "Add/Remove Pro" http://www.softpile.com/Utilities/Disk_Utilities/Review_05148_index.html It's also free. The add/remove program in your "Control Panel" removes the programs you want but leaves pieces of the unwanted program all over your computer. This program gets most of them.

(7) If you have "Computer Cop", run the program and delete anything that you don't want in your computer.

(8) Run a check to see if you can find the bad files: Click on "Start" on the bottom left side of your computer, click "Search". ClicK "For files and folders", type things like sex, porn, horny, accessmem, dialer, one at a time. Delete anything you don't want. Be Careful on this next step--If you have downloaded Spybot, and you know you should, Spybot has files that stop this next file. It's called "egroup".

Spybot needs these files to stop "egroup" from ever downloading into your computer again, without your permission. ( You know the ones I'm talking about, the "egroup" that likes to put icons on your desktop and can make your modem dial foriegn countries--The ones you keep deleting, add/removing and they keep coming back when you reboot.) Keep going, you can do it. Here's how to check.

Click "Start", click "Search", click "For files and folders" type "egroup". You'll see the "searching" message right of where you typed "egroup". You want to leave any folder that has "spybot" listed. I you find "egroup" files on the right screen here's how to check if the "egroup" are a part of Spybot: left-click on the suspicious "egroup" file, this will highlite it. Now right-click on the highlited "egroup".

Left-click on "properties" select the "General Tab". (it may already be on the "General Tab") If you see "spybot" following the "location"--DON"T DELETE IT. All other "egroup" files have to go. There are other things you can do just to make sure you've rid yourself of those little devils but if you don't know how to, then get a computer friend to help.

(9) Download Adaware.

http://download.com.com/3000-2094-10045910.html

It's free and it will make you computer run faster because it rid of little files that websites like to leave behind when you surf.

(10) If you just gotten a bill from ALYON TECHNOLOGIES and haven't received your long-distance bill, you'll probably be hit by more charges. If your long-distance provider is AT&T, call 1-800-222-0300.

Tell them you have received a bill for long-distance charges that you did not make. The operator will check and tell you that the charges are for an Adult Web Site.

Tell them you never called an adult web site. They will make a one time jesture of dismissing the charges.

Apparently, AT&T is getting accustomed to getting calls from people (censored)by ALYON TECHNOLOGIES, because my operator didn't even hesitate after I told her I did not make the call. She immediately began the process of dismissing the charges.

(11) Send a donation to ripoffreport.com because the person running this website has a lot of guts taking on deep-pocket companies and could use the help. No, I am not an employee of this site, I'm a victim of this(censored) and I am really mad at this parasitic, vampire, porn-peddling,(censored)-scum ALYON TECHNOLOGIES. ALL of us need to do our part to take this company down. Good luck
