Sneaky transfer from my internet server (UIA) consumer fraud ripoff Norcross GA .....

I was taking advantage of yahoogroups.com offering of "absolutely no costs whatsoever" webpage viewing. I probably was surfing about one minute when I caught a fleeting glance of a momentary window identified as Alyon.

I was immediately suspicious and proceeded to shutdown. There was some delay because the Alyon hookup wouldn't let go. When I started up again, I noticed that they had put their logo on the startup page (more sneakiness).

If you found their Logo, then the Mini-dialer is in your computer. Get it out right away. It is designed to take over as your primary ISP, with a prompting and maybe without.

My Computer>Dial-Up Networking>Mini-dailer DELETE IT!

Start Menu.Find>iedisco.exe DELETE IT
(based on WIN98)

Then send Alyon Technologies a Certified Letter with return receipt denying all knowledge of use.
