Alyon Technologies Ripoff using telephone billing victim had no phone modem! rip off scam (censored) Norcross Georgia
We were billed on our telephone for accessing a porn site which was never accessed on our computer. There was a phone charge to their ld number on our bill - I don't know how they did that.
Upon objecting to the bill we received a three page letter explaining all the various and complex ways we could dispute it, but mostly explaining the complicated methods they had of screening their billing online, all of which was lies in our case at least. And as I see from a little net tour, many, many others have been victimized by this company as well.
I have not the slightest doubt that this company is run by some thread of organized crime - this is the porn business, after all.
They bill for relatively small amounts (at first, I suspect), figuring most people will pay rather than suffer the nuisance of having any connection at all with these slimy individuals.
They are hidden behind a PO Box number. I have no doubt they will never admit to any human being involved in running their company.
These people are vicious, clever (censored). They need to hope that I never discover who they personally are.
