No, we are NOT accessing "porn sites." But how did they invade our computers? What's our commonality? Gator, Gain, ActiveX, RealOne? These contain our personal information. They are notorious for causing pop-ups. Seven days prior to the "event" I got a worm, I-worm.sobig, and Elksoft Firewall Killer. Check for these in files and folders. At the same time, one week prior, I received an e-mail from a friend, spam-type, saying Microsoft was paying us to forward this e-mail on, trust it, it was from an attorney friend, it REALLY works, and I did, to one friend. They are now warned.
I feel raped by this invasion into my privacy. It's time for a class action suit. Please-please-please---Post a response if ANY of this sounds familiar. We need to get to the root of the problem. I'm now living in fear every time I use the internet. I really don't believe ANY ONE of us even SAW this so-called web site. People are blaming their children, that's heart-wrenching. I bought PestPatrol to stop them, but is this the future we are going to look forward to? Thanks.
