Complaint Review: Alyon

Alyon Technologies Hacked right past our web content filters with pop-up box immediately upon log in, and every selection made after put me further into their site. (censored)ripoff business mistreated and ripped off (censored)ripoff business Elizabeth New Jersey .....

I logged on on Tues. eve. 5/27/2003 and instantly their pop-up boxes were showing up. We have parental filter settings in place to keep our young son's from seeing this type of thing.

unfortunately they (Alyon) hacked right past these gates. I kept picking the X pick box to close the site but every time I closed it,it opened back up deeper into the site. I finally got it to subside after a few minutes, and went about my surfing. On a few more occassions that evening the site popped in again but with less persistance than the initial time.

On Wed. 6/4/2003 I recieved a bill in the mail claiming that I had spent 24 min. in their web site @ $4.99/Min. for a grand total, with tax of $125.14. Pretty expensive evening of browsing would'nt ya say!!!!

I have news for this company, and all others who rely on this type of thing to earn their living, my 5 year old son was sitting with me at the time this happened, and let me say the opening page contained more info than I would have liked to have provided him with in the next ten years. We use our internet as a recreation and a learning resource.

Let me assure Alyon Technologies one thing, I better never receive another invoice. It sounds as if there is probably enough support to assemble a LAWSUIT, as it sounds this is not an isolated occurrance, there have been several complaints against this company, that I have read today all revolve around this date, and this ide1ntical circumstance.
