Complaint Review: am-autoparts

am-autoparts ebay@am-autoparts AM is short for AfterMarket. Quality is also aftermarket. Parts failed in 3 mo. and will not exchange. I spent more, not less!! Internet

Purchased an O2 sensor because it looked like I could save a few bucks (ya right). After only 3 mo, the internal heater circuit failed - sensor defective.


Contacted AM Autoparts describing problem but their only response has been a form letter stating the 30 day return policy. I doubt anyone read my complaint because anyone knowledgable in these parts knows a failure like this is a manufacturing defect.


Saving some money up front has now cost me the price of a new one + the defective one + aggrevation + another installation.


Be careful. While a few aftermarket parts may be ok, most are not designed or manufactured to OEM specs and are they're junk. This coupled with a company that DOESN'T stand behind what they sell then there's no reason to use them. Lousy service + cheap parts = Aftermarket Auto Parts.
