I have always been one of those people who like to help others, since growing up my family did not have much. So, when a young man in his college years knocks on my door asking if I would like to purchase magazines in support of his college education. So, I let him tell me his speal about how he is rasining money, so he could travel abroad and study. Since I recently graduated from college myself, I was envious of his adventure and wanted to help where I could. So, I write a check and make it out to 'CASH' as he recommended. I should have known that was a sign that something was not right.

After waiting for over 90 to 120 days to start receiving my magazine, I go back & look at the receipt this eager to laern young man gave me and found no phone number, website, email address, or physical address. So, I write a letter to the PO Box that was given. About a week later, the letter was returned marker 'no such sender.' I was livid. I called a friend that dealt with news invistagations and he told me that this company has been doing it for years now. So, I decided to tell all my friends and family about this scam. What gets me is how can someone know that they are going around scaming people like this?! Please let everyone know about this scam, so it does continue to happen to other caring people whojust want to support a good cause.
