I found out about this company on hotjobs.com. They advertise a medical transcription work-training program for people interested in doing transcriptions for a living. They had me do sample transcroptions for them, and told me that I was good enough for their program. Then once I talked to the owner, he said that I needed to pay 397 dollars for software. I was taken aback, because all up until this point, the company passed off the entire program as free.

I went ahead and bought the software, because I figured since it was a training program, I probably needed to purchase something anyway. However, right away, the company sent me more "test" transcriptions and told me I still wasn't good enough, even though they told me I was great before I bought the software.

I did websearches and found countless testimonials from others scammed by this company. From all that I read, I gathered that this company cheats employees by keeping them in training forever and never paying them.

These guys have been ripping off people for YEARS on end. It IS in fact a scam, but Florida laws protect "software developers" and moving companies and the like.

NO ONE THAT WE KNOW OF TO THIS DAY HAS EVER TRANSCRIBED FOR WHAT WE LOVINGLY REFER TO IN THE TRANSCRIPTION INDUSTRY AS "TRANS SCAM"!!!

See archives of: www.mtchat.com and www.mtstars.com and/or just enter in Google: "trans scam" "trans am" ripoff, etc.

The BBB is a MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION in which companies pay to be a part. Don't bother ever using the BBB to research a company. Check with others in the industry and/or research on the Internet yourself.

Medical transcription is a 2-year college program. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
