Complaint Review: Aman Ghuman - Universal Bancorp

Beware of a man called AMAN GHUMAN, an Indian national who represents himself as a manager of UNIVERSAL BANCORP, a mortgage company based in Chicago, IL.

I was hired as part of a team of homebased agents in the Philippines and was promised a salary of $1.5 per hour or P12,000.00 monthly base pay plus commissions.

Two weeks into the job some of us started asking further details about the salary (how and when it will be sent, etc.) and requested if it's possible for him to send it twice a month instead of once a month as per our previous agreement. He gave us no definite answer and would play hide and seek everytime this matter was brought up.

A few days later, he told us abruptly that the company has closed down it's operations in the country withour further explanation as to why this is so. We asked if we would still get the two week's worth of salary that we worked hard for but did not get any response from him. He is still in hiding until now, probably recruiting a new batch of agents.

Initially he had an open, honest and friendly demeanor. The truth is he is FAKE! Do not be lured by his promise of a potential career growth within his company, attractive compensation packages and seemingly legit front. He is a SCAMMER, a SMOOTH TALKER and a SLEAZE BALL! NEVER trust this man or anyone affiliated with UNIVERSAL BANCORP.
