We paid $1,200 for a refrigerator that has, in the past 2.5 years, required nine service visits by the dealer's technicians. The worst was the frozen pipe in the freezer that required us to throw away our frozen food 5 times- that's right, 5 times. The defect was never corrected although we were assured after the part was replaced that all would be well from now on. WRONG!

They're still looking for "solutions" and they still will not replace our refrigerator. And we keep on buying the extended warranties because we KNOW the freezer will break down every few months. We have been told by our technician that our refrigerator was a lemon. Now, to make you laugh, he's been to to our home so often that he knows our dog by name.

You'll never believe this but my Amana dishwasher is broken too, and this is the second one in 2.5 years. It leaks to the point that we may have file a homeowners' insurance claim for damage done to our floor and subfloor.
