Just try to get anything done with these good old boys and girls. Just try. I purchased a refrigerator from Amana that never has worked correctly. After replacing the capicator start coil twice we finally had the compressor replaced.
Our last service call involved the authorized repairman recommending that the unit be replaced. In the hands of customer care is not the place to be. It is a constant run around. No one there has a last name just a number and everyone there is an accomplished liar. No one will say "hey partner, you bought it tough crap". After several days of being jerked around I've had it........Bottom line with Amana "maytag corp." is Buyer Beware....
