I bought a male maltipoo puppy from Amanda's Puppies for $300 and the puppy died from Coccidiosis within a week. I took him to the vet within four business days and he was diagnosed with this disease. I called Amanda and told her and she acted like she really didn't care about what had happened. She also told me that it was my fault that he got the disease and died even though the vet said that he had had the disease for a long time and that is why he didn't survive. So he had to get the disease while he was in her care because I didn't have him long enough for him to get the disease with me. I spent over $600 trying to save my precious puppy from dying. He was placed on an IV, given fluids and hospitalized.  After he died I asked her for a replacement puppy but she said that she couldn't give me another puppy unless it was one of the same value as my puppy that died.

She wouldn't even give me a puppy that cost only a $100 more because she said that the puppy was a better quality than my puppy had been and that I would have to pay the difference even though I had already spent $300 on the puppy and over $600 to try to save him. She is a heartless greedy puppy scammer and she doesn't care about the well-being of her puppies or the emotional grieve that selling unhealthy puppies does to her customers. She doesn't even have any sympathy for her customers. All she cares about is how much more money she can take from you.She is immoral and I wouldn't recommend her to anybody. Save yourself the heartbreak, and the money and find a reputable puppy breeder. This lady is only running a scam and needs to prevented from breeding puppies and putting them in that kind of environment and sellling them to die on other people. That is animal cruelty and she is a puppy killer who's business needs to be terminated permanently. Please take the time to read this review and trust me it will save you the emotional grieve. RIP Bentley. She will get hers in due time.

Buyers of puppies have to have common sense. Don't wait until diarrhea ( from any cause) gets to the point to kill your puppy and it is too late for treatment. Watery diarrhea can kill in hours. I don't understand why you call this breeder a scam when she was willing to give you another puppy. Not all breeders would give you another puppy if you let the puppy go with diarrhea for days before seeking medical care. Did the puppy have soft poop when you got it? Did the breeder warn you about soft poop and getting it checked out? My breeder told me this and made me have a fecal test at the Vet when I bought my puppy. My puppy had coccidiosis too but was running and playing and taking the medication Albon.My puppy never acted sick with coccidiosis and I have a good relationship with my breeder.

Amanda has sold sick puppies to other customers also. If you look up other reports, you will see that she has done this to other people. When I tried to contact her about my puppy, she said that she couldnt do anything because she was out of town and I know plenty about raising small puppies because I have a shih tzu and a pomeranian that didn't die and have never been sick.

She sold him to me sick and didn't care about his health. Before you buy a puppy from her check around and read her reviews because she doesn't take care of her puppies like she should, and she won't try to help you.

I honestly wouldn't have taken the time to write this if she was good breeder but she isn't. She doesn't even feed them properly because my puppy was malnutrition. I just don't want this situation to continue to happen to people because it is very tragic.

I understand it may be difficult to raise a small dog for the first time, that is why i outline a very specific contract for each new puppy owner. Each new puppy owner is supposed to take their new puppy to a vet with 4 days of purchase, If there is anything found wrong with the puppy they are supposed to RETURN him for proper treatment.

Treatment for Coccidiosis is very easy and has a 99% survival rate. This customer did not contact me the day the puppy was diagnosed (Tuesday) but instead decided to try and remedy the situation herself.

She finally called histerical on Friday evening after watching the puppy deteriorate with no PROPER treatment. She still refused to return the puppy and decided to admit it to a hospital.

The decisions on how to treat the puppy were hers ALONE and she had to suffer the consequences of not obeying the CONTRACT and returning the puppy the first day she knew there was a problem. If she had returned the puppy MY little BABY would still be alive today. I feel her pain for the loss but am VERY UPSET that she took steps to kill the puppy by not seeking proper treatment right away.

By the time she contacted me (Friday) the puppy was outside the 4 day warrenty policy. I created the policy so people would not procrastinate to call me if there was a problem.

In order to try and help with her loss EVEN though she had DISOBEYED and BROKEN the contract I decided to give her a ONE-TIME chance to get a replacement puppy.

I brought her two puppies to choose from and she chose the BROTHER of the puppy she originally bought. Within 24 hours she RETURNED the brother of the puppy and said it was not the same quality. He came from the SAME mom and dad!!! I don't understand. She wanted me to replace her puppy with one of the more Expensive puppies in order to correct the situation.

I'm sorry it was NOT my FAULT that you did not follow the contract and I was not the one to watch the puppy die and not call for help until he was practically dead. Then ungratefully called his BROTHER not of the same quality.

I'm sorry but i can not replace a puppy that YOU killed with a more expensive puppy after YOU broke all the agreements and called me all sorts of "names" when returning his brother.
