On March 22, 2014, My husband and I drove to Crown City, OH from Three Rivers, MI to make a trade of AKC shih tzus for Boston Terriers. After several e-mails and one phone call, Amanda Saunders (if that is her name) agreed to take my Shih tzus as is and not wait for me to groom them.
I also took a pair of toy poodles to her for 750 $ to be paid with two post dated checks spread over a two week time span. This was due to her husbands pay weeks. After being berrated by this woman who is clearly mental, her checks (I found out the hard way) she had written them on an account that has been closed for over a year. Not to mention, writing a posted check is illegal.
She told me the day before the first check was to be cashed that she lost her checkbook and wanted to pay pal me! Ok, I said. She e-checked me and that bounced. I have tried and tried to deal with her but it is impossible. She blames me for her guilt!
Her breeding facility does not look the greatest either. The thing is is her lying about everything and going after me personally. My husband, my handicap (i am a dwarf), my disabiity income, and the name calling!
I have all the proof you need to see I am an honest and true pet lover!!! I will even share the e-mails that she owes me and won't do a thing to make any of this right.
Now as far as what is will say: how do we know that is the dog in the pictures I brought her? Where is the proof that any bill she has is for the dogs I brought her? She is not good friends with the dog warden in Galiia County, Ohio. That came right from the Warden herself.
She has many alias's, phone numbers, and has moved several times to keep from getting in trouble by the law. She has posted two slanderous posts on the only website I advertise my puppies on. None of it is true. It applies to her. I welcome anyone who is interested to contact me for pictures or documents, or even visit my home and see for yourself. Help me stop this women from breeding bad dogs and getting away with a serious crime.

Texas only requires a pretty hefty fee for an inspection and yearly permit to sell animals. I am also a licensed exotic animal broker that I don't do anymore. I have never had any sick dogs being sold nor been shut down nor inspected for complaints. I have owned three pet stores in a 20 year time span. I have proof of it all.
My name was hyphenated when I was married Oct. 19, 1997. Why are you insisting you know my personal business.? People just need to call animal control in Gallia county Ohio and look up on yahoo all about you. As far as the names, you printed they r all my name. They don't change on your list. You have many of my family members listed as people search gives to be sure u have found the person u r looking for.
We moved to El paso Texas in 2000, when my husband's factory moved there. I closed my store in Constantine, MI. There's one address. When the factory closed and I got sick causing me to close both my stores in Texas, we moved home. We moved into a trailer in Centreville, MI. It was in January and cold. When I got possession back of my home in Three Rivers, we moved in to it and have been here just under 9 years.
I have sent you proof of everything I have gone thru because of your lies and scam u pulled on me. Just ask for proof people....I have it and will share it any way u need it to see it, text, e-mail, fax, etc. Amanda can't do that. Just call/text me (((phone number redacted)))

My maiden name was Jones and I have not used it since I was married in 91. I do not need to use alias's like Shanon Roberts does. She has many! She even uses her boyfriends last name. Clarence McClain is her boyfriend.
I also have never moved around as she claims. I have lived right here my whole life. Again, unlike Ms Roberts who has moved several times because of selling sick puppies. She has lived all around MI and well as Texas.
I have proof to back up all of my info.
She owned a pet store in TX, was in trouble for not having a class B USDA license.
She even told me that she was USDA licensed now, which of course turned out to be a lie.
This woman is NUTS.

And as for moving. I have lived here my whole life. I grew up in this house, my grandparents left it to me. I've never moved. shanon Roberts really is a nut case. I think she believes the lies that she tells.
please be careful when dealing with this woman. I have hears from others that she has sold sick puppies to.

This woman brought me 3 horribly matted Shih Tzu that were skin and bones under all that hair and two poorly bred Poodles that were not even toy Poodles as she described.
I should have told her NO when they opened the van door and I first laid eyes on the dogs. They were in terrible shape. But as she said she is handicap (and uses that excuse) and I felt bad that they had driven from MI to bring them.
i didn't realize how matted these dogs were until that evening when my A-5 clippers would not even begin to cut through the mess.
i took all 5 dogs in to my vets office the next day. Both poodles and two of the Shih Tzus had to be sedated to be groomed as the mats were to the skin and in one solid chunk, it's like they were wearing a pelt. Once all of the hair was off it became clear how thin they were.
shanon emailed me the following day to ask how bad they were to groom! She then went on to say she would take a puppy back from each female as they were bred to her Pom! A fact that was NEVER discussed prior to me getting them, I would have NEVER taken them had I known they were bred for mutt puppies. I do NOT breed mixes.
sure enough the smaller fem is bred and so now I will have a mixed breed litter to find a home for. Not only that but she has a prolapse.
did I stop pmnt on her checks? You bet your butt I did. She fails to mention that she received $400 via PayPal which I have receipts for, that was what she was owed minus my vet bill.
she was told time after time to come and get the dogs and refund my money, she refuses to do so.
as far as her handicap, she is mad because I reported her for disability fraud. She is collecting ssi while living with her boyfriend and not reporting it. They are not married as she claims.
if anyone is considering buying from this woman PLEASE go see the conditions they are kept in.
i have a total of 9 AKC Shih Tzu, wow big time breeder here. My dogs that don't live in the house full time have a heated and air conditioned building to run in and out of. Their kennels are 20 ft long by 20 ft wide. They are groomed on a regular basis and have vet care. Unlike Shanons dogs , I have emails from her stating she grooms her dogs once per yr, and they live in a barn.
