I had been using the free version of the amateurmatch.com for over 6 months. This free version is about useless since you can't email others, reply to emails to you, instant message, nor do a search in any specified area. Even the paid version won't let you do an advanced search to Who's Online.

Since, I had been receiving 3+ emails a day, I kept my profile, and read the incoming emails (hundreds of emails!). After this length of time, and my checking out each of the persons whom had emailed me, I came to the conclusion that there were several of the emailers that appeared to be a perfect match.

I signed up for the paid service, then replied to only to users that had previously emailed me (up to one month previous to signing up for the paid service), and that I had great interest in. ZERO of 25 users which had initiated the emails to me, returned any of my reply emails. ALL of the emails to me (which varied from 3 up to 8 emails a day) immediately stopped. I have received ZERO emails from anybody since I signed up for paid membership.

This site has used false emails to lead me to join, only to get nothing due to questionable profiles sending (automated?) fraudulent emails to users that are using the free version of the site.

I checked with the BBB, and found no reports as of yet. I would certainly be thankful for anyone with information of how to make sure this won't happen to anyone else.
