Amax Consumer Research warning to internet suffers to beware of "mystery shoppery" ads, this one sent a $4100 dollar check to cover the expense of buying produscts and sending two moneyorders back as training on how to perform financial matters. check was on a company that has nothing to do with the myster shopping as usual. Hamilton Ontario

i am in law enforcement and continously see counterfeit checks sent to people as part of some scam. The newest one is the mystery shopper scam such as the one above. requires the victim to buy two money orders in large amounts and to send them back as part of the training. as with all other lottery scams the checks are counterfeit and on an unsuspecting company. if you verify the phone number it will almost always be a cell # in canada. do not cash these types of checks!
