An idiot and his / her money are soon parted. The advertisement for this "product" which claims to have a U.S. Patent # 5,989,178 (reproduced below from a US Patent Office search) appeared in an ad from an FFA network recently sent to me in an email. Of all the PATENTLY (pun intended) idiotic crap I've ever seen, this is probably one of the most imbecilic ads on the Internet. I've reproduced the Web page on http://www.AssholesAmongUs.com/immortalitydevice.htm
(minus the links and including the spelling and grammatical errors) in a format that is a bit more eye-appealing than the one he has. Tell me; Do such stupid people REALLY exist on the planet that believe this stuff actually works? Sometimes, I'd venture to say, that you might get a placebo effect from someone who is totally brain-dead - but I can guarantee you, it won't turn ANYONE into a "supermodel", and everyone dies - eventually. I particularly get a chuckle from "Gorgeouspil" - he must have gotten that idea from a Star Trek Original Series episode titled "Mudd's Women". While there IS a US patent on a "magnetic ring", there is nothing in the abstract that says anything about any of the claims this idiot makes on his Web site. All this "magnetic ring" is good for is picking up paper clips or sewing needles you dropped on the shag carpet. The entire scam involves (plastic) magnetic rings that you wear on fingers and/or toes (Yes, wear them on your feet to attract all those sharp pins embedded in the carpet) and "Gorgeouspil" pills or powder (make your own pills!!) Immortality? Yeah, right! He's stealing money from stupid people, and he quotes Bible passages to support his thievery.
