Amazing Pet Expo/ Cleveland Pet Expo Rip Off/ Failed to Refund Money/ Lied/ Lack of communication Cleveland Ohio
After much soliciation, our club signed up for the Cleveland Pet Expo to do an Agility demo. Within days after signing up, We called to cancel and were told we could not cancel.
Our club closed and we could no longer be a part a prt of the Expo and we emailed the company to ask if we could do a name change so we could sell our spot. See the email below:

Hi Marie,
I am starting to put together the stage schedule for the Cleveland Pet Expo on September 7th and I wanted to get in contact with you to see what kind of schedule you had in mind for our event.
We usually have agility demos every hour on the hour throughout the day. The times are 10:10am, 11:00AM, 12:00PM,1:00PM, 2:00PM, 3:00PM and 4:00PM.
If you didn’t want to do demos all day please let me know and I will find other demos to fill the time slots. I also wanted to see if you would be bringing your own mats for the flooring?

Hi Marie,
I’m sorry that you have not heard back from anyone from our company, when you emailed me I forwarded it on to Event Coordinator and our Office Manager, who should have contacted you so I do apologize for you not getting a response from anyone.
After speaking with our Office Manager about this situation, we have no record of Ohio Air Dogs trying to contact us about a refund. We do not give refunds if it is 181 days out from the event. A few months ago, we had received an email from an attendee, telling us that they were pretty sure Ohio Air Dogs was out of business, but we still had them advertised on our website. We tried to reach out to the Ohio Air Dogs several times after this and we did not hear anything back. Until we hear from the business itself, we assume that you will still be attending the event.
Because we received first word that you will not be attending the event on July 10th , which was less than 181 days out from the event, you will not be able to receive a refund. You do have a couple other options, you can transfer the money into an a quarter page ad in the program, you can donate the booth to a nonprofit as a tax write off or you can sell the booth yourself. If you sell the booth yourself, we will need for you to give us the business name, contact name, phone number, and email address. You will have to send us this information, personally.
