The ad on e-bay said airfare up to $800 to anywhere in the US where there is a major airport for $79 + $4 shipping. I inquired about using any airline and the answer was yes and they also said I could stay anywhere I chose, even in my own condo. When the certificate arrived, it said the offer was only available with purchase of 7 nights in a hotel and that I had no choice of airlines.

I then noticed that the auction was ended early by e-bay for violating listing guidelines. I filed a complaint with PayPal who determined that the seller is at fault but they were unable to recover any funds from the seller's account.

The person I corresponded with regarding my purchase was Anthony Bates who said he was leaving the travel business. I suspect he was "taken" or "ripped off" by Steve Rainey of Let's Travel as that is the site that I was referred to when I made my complaint.

The people involved in this are as follows:
1. anthonybates2002@yahoo.com
2. stephsbay@aol.com
3. proudofforty2@yahoo.com
4. fly4nothing.com

6. promostay.com
7. Amazing Travel Deals: 270 Doug Baker Blvd Suite 700-232 Birmingham AL 35242

So, beware of any of the above!!!
