Purhased a book on Amazon.com from third-party seller Alphacraze. Amazon.com collected payment of $10.12 on behalf of third-party and guaranteed return of payment in the event of third-party non-performance. Alphacraze never delivered the book. After repeated follow-ups with Alphacraze and requests to Amazon for a refund within the guarantee period I was informed the period had expired. In fact, all my interim communications were ignored by literally stupid telephone contact people. Perhaps, stupid as foxes.

Amazon has really shamed itself on this one. I could not believe a major firm would be this immoral for such an insignificant amount of money. They must believe no one will go after them for nickels and dimes. I would never recommend doing business with Amazon.com. Irony was that I could not remove myself from their mailing list in a straightforward manner; so I had to change my private information with a number of edits using false information. I then changed my checkcard for which they had a number on record.
