amazon.com Marketplace mistated what they were selling and sold identical item I received with different item # Internet
I ordered an APC 750 ES UPS (battery backup) unit and was charged $129.15. The picture of the item was not identical with what I received but was identical with another backup-same designation for which the charge on Amazon Marketplace listed as $79.84.
That is roughly a $50 overcharge for an item I did not want to buy- because of the wrong photo of the item eing sold for $129.15.
This problem is endemic with Amazon.com Marketplace- worse yet, there is no person to whom I can address the problem at this firm because there is no known toll free number to their customer service.
I never received any response to my complaint when I tried to e-mail them - triply aggravating because you can only e-mail the "seller" and rtechnically IPC store seems to be the seller.
From my viewppoint, dealing with Amazon.com Marketyplace is a crapshoot - you make your order and they send you whatever they please- not neceaarily what you ordered.
