Re: Amient Technologies and "Lisa" with their Technical Support Lack of Responsiveness/Send Me Home from Work for Troubleshooting and Then Does Not Call!  BUYER BEWARE before Installing a Lennox Fireplace and an Ambient Technologies Remote!! Stay Away from this Company!

Please be advised that we have contacted AMBIENT TECHNOLOGIES and technical support and "Lisa" several times with respect to our Lennox fireplace remote not working.  This is the only number listed on the inside of our remote: 800-398-6195 as Ambient Technologies Technical support and the number listed for "Lisa" has been non-responsive with respect to:

1)  Answering the phone at all during business hours
2) Calling back in a timely manner
3) Keeping troubleshooting appointments

Additionally, we were told by Lisa to be home that coming Friday given that would work best for her in terms of troubleshooting.  We were also told to call on Friday morning and remind her (we have never had the experience of having to call and remind a company's technical support for an appointment they set up as per their calendar).  However, we called twice that Friday morning as per her request to remind her of the troubleshooting session. 

Additionally, that afternoon I had to take off work early and sit in metro traffic for an hour only to get home and have her not call us after all of this.  I have called and left her a message with respect to that issue as well, and still to no avail.   Buyer Beware: Stay away from Lennox Fireplaces that use Ambient Technoligies Remotes as you will be spending A LOT OF MONEY on a product where if the remote stops working, you're out of a fireplace altogether given the customer Service at Ambient is completely NON RESPONSIVE, the website does not let us you know how to get a hold of any customer support except Lisa or someone that is actually willing to help with their product. BUYER BEWARE OF AMBIENT TECHNOLOGIES FIREPLACE REMOTES, DO NOT PURCHASE!!

 Upon a review of the issue noted in your filing, it is my underatnding that Lisa and yourself had worked to solve the issue over the phone. The resulting problem upon a full inspection of the returned devise concluded that the unit is 100 % fully functional.

We will be returning the unit to you and as a sign of good will the freight charges for the return will be paid for by our company.

We do our best to respond to issues as quickly as possible
