We were billed 289.95 in Oct 2000, we paid the invoice b/c our secretary (family member, my aunt) was released two months prior and we weren't sure if she authorized it or not. After the payment our past secretary assured us that she didn't authorize it either.

Now in Nov 2003, we are being harrassed again b/c they say that "I" authorized a 2 yr contract when I spoke to them in Oct 2000. They (Bobby Dreak and other employees) say the payment we made was only half of the two year contract dues. I asked them for a copy of the contract and they said they didn't have one; and it's all based on verbal. They are very viol.

They said they would send us to collections, so I guess that's what they're going to have to do b/c I am not paying them.

Ameri-source and Their Collection Agency: American Solutions Information are Both Owned By Pavlos Angelatos. He also Owns World Wide Source!

Dear Rebecca,

They will send you to "collections" [American Solutions Information] which is simply another department in their wretched organization. The whole thing: Ameri-source, American Solutions Information and World Wide Source are owned by Pavlos Angelatos, a master scam artist in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

They are a total fraud. They have no authority to collect the money they claim you owe them. They can only resort to teleterrorism and sending you bogus invoices. (Did they forget to tell you about your legal right to cancel within 72 hours?) You owe them NOTHING!

You need to know that these goons used to use a Vermont address but the Attorney General there pressed charges against them and had them kicked out of their "drop" address there. As far as I know, New York has yet to eject them. In the Vermont settlement Pavlos Angelatos was ordered to give refunds to all Vermont victims of this scam.

Report them to your Attorney General and read the Rip Off Reports on World Wide Source for more information on this scam and how to effectively fight it.
