Complaint Review: America's Best Contacts&Eyeglasses

I have been going to America's Best Contacts for about five years and have never had good service. I thought somehow I was the only one that the file was missing, my order was lost, or they would say it was shipped out but it never came in because they didn't order it yet.

I have the contract and have had good luck with it as far as price goes but when they made me come in for my 1 year check up or I couldn't order from the internet. I would normally go to the Mundelein office about 25 minutes away. They are no longer so now I have to drive to Arlington Heights which is at least 45 minutes away.

I planned my visit during my vacation from work. It takes about 90 minutes for their exams. I tell them I want to try colored contacts but they don't have them in stock. I have to order them wait 2 weeks and pay for shipping because I am not driving back to Arlington Heights to pick them up. When they were finally shipped to me 2wks later after I made a phone call to them. I only received one eye's contacts. I had to call again to have the rest shipped, not at my expense.

I have continually had these problems with the service and have never really been happy. I just felt that I saved money on the contacts so I put up with it.
