Complaint Review: America's Best

All I can say is that you get what you pay for. I don't need glasses all the time and just need them for distances. Don't see the point in paying top dollar for frames as I replace them every 2 yrs, if not sooner. Was recommended to America's Best. I have my regular eye doctor who is excellent.

I took my prescription to America's Best. They somehow managed to make me contacts from a prescription for eyeglasses. No problem; they corrected it at their expense. Their staff are somewhat helpful and ok but nothing to rave about either.

I would probably go back there for more frames sometime in the future but would NEVER use their eye testing services and will continue to use my eye doctor as he great, is reasonably priced and tests for the whole 9 yards. I could say the same for any other "cheap" eye glass place. If you replace your eyeglasses every couple of years America's Best cheap frames are fine.

Don't expect the best of service as you will get what you pay for. I've had trouble before at Lenscrafters in 3 different locations and A.B weren't a whole lot different.

DON'T use their eye doctors or whatever they classify them as in there. Where some of them get their qualifications leave a lot to be desired.
