Perhaps a year back, my husband received a call from a magazine company. It was the callers first time on the job and he was nervous. So, taking pity upon him, my husband consented to subscribing using my credit card. It was all fine at first, for the first few months. They took out their allotted amount and the amount for their other related companies that claimed to only take out a dollar a month.

Then after those few months passed, that's when things started to get hairy. The dollar-a-month companies started to charge twenty five dollars a month, which was supposed to be the full amount of their services. Fortunately enough, though, we were able to cancel those and receive our last payment back. Then came the time when my husband and I had a reduction in our money and had to cancel. We also had to move that time. With our bill one month there was a fill-out form to cancel. We did so and sent it in. However, they called our old number and since they couldn't get a hold of us they refused to cancel.

After that we got called up about opening a second account. My husband told them no. They must of been deaf, because they opened it anyways. There was also a few weeks where they called nearly every day asking for personal information. Stupidly my husband gave it to them and the last time he asked me about my credit card I told him to refuse them, because they should already have that information.

Now we are getting double to triple billed for both accounts. Not only that, we're getting calls every day about missing money from not only them, but other magazine companies who we never subscribed to. The recent being Central Subscription. I'm not sure if the two are related, but I am most definitely sure that we NEVER had business with this company. Yet, for some reason they have our personal information and are harassing us as much as the other.

Coincidence? I think not.

It's probably because of my own stupidity along with my husband's that we got into this mess in the first place. Also, I'm pretty sure there is no hope in seeing we can do anything to stop them from taking from my credit card since we waited so long. We did report to Better Business.Although, we are both somewhat young and weren't aware that we could do anything to dispute this in the past till now.

I hope this helps others greatly.
