Complaint Review: America's Elite Media

I started getting these magazines: Maxim (!), OK, Parenting, and some hunting fishing magazine. 1st of all, I am a grandmother, so no, not interested in Maxim or Parenting, so I wouldn't have accidentally ordered these. Not the least bit interested in hunting or fishing, or celebrity gossip. So why am I getting these?

I had to call and email all these magazines and tell them not to send me these any more. The response I got was that these were being handled 3rd party (AEM) and they couldn't change the subscription. So I tried to contact the company.

No email address, no web page, nothing but an answering service saying they'd give me a call back. They were so busy, ya know.

Now they are sending me notices that I am over due on my payments. I refuse to make payments to someone that will not answer my questions, will not return my phone calls and orders magazines for me.

So I looked them up:

Better Business Bureau rates them an F

Isn't that interesting!
