Exactly the same things happened to us. We were moving an employee from one state to another. America's Moving Network gave us a pick up date, and like everyone else, they never showed. Our employee and our business contacted America's Moving Network. Naturally they blamed it on the moving company. Twice they said they had to take the moving truck back to Florida and couldn't make our pick up date. The mover ha ha never called and never showed their faces!

There is a website for the Attorney General of Florida, where you can obtain an affidavit to be filled out. The website is http://myfloridalegal.com/contract. Another website is for the U.S. Department of Transportation. This website has a Commercial/Consumer Complaint Form.

We hope this helps everyone. America's Moving Network, Global Moving Network, or whatever their name is this week must be stopped!

I used to be the manager of this company. When we first opened up no one there includeing me knew the first thing about moving or what was intaled.I for one am a sales person trained by some of the best closers in the country. So,when i came into the buisness,my mentality was sell, sell, sell close, close, close, as was everyone elses there. After a couple of months of opening A.M.N. Everyone started getting the hang of the moving industry an A.M.N. was making a valiant effort to help an back the client up.Of course I am there no longer because of personal reasons with the company an my own issues.

Now I am a Physical estimator for a very good company with a great b.b.b. rateing.I dont understand why all of their moves are going so bad,its like their on a rampage of ripping people off, they just dont give a rats a@@(pardon my french :).

Even if you do estimates over the phone they can be done correctly if the estimator knows what to ask, like packing, crateing, stairs,is there any additional p/u's,etc,etc.But then again,a van line is not a taxi, they cannot always be on time, take into accord that these semi trucks have other pick ups an drop offs scattered through out the country.Im not condoneing what these van lines do to the consumer by no means. My best advise to the consumer that will sooner or later need these services,is to go with a reputable company that IS a member of the b.b.b. an has a satisfactory rateing.Get a physical BINDING estimate,if u cant or dont have time to get a physical estimate, dont be scared of a quote over the phone, especialy if youve contacted a reputable company.I for one close 8 to 10 jobs a day over the phone with no problems when my clients are picked up,but then again im a physical estimator,an know what to ask.

In any accord,i do feel for any of you that get ripped off by these companies.CHOSEING A MOVING COMPANY IS JUST LIKE BUYING A CAR,IF YOU JUMP RIGHT INTO A CAR WITHOUT INVESTIGATEING IT,YOULL PROBLY GET A LEMON...
