I had been working with American Servicing Center (ASC) since May 2008 when I fell behind on my loan. I asked for a restructure to help me regain payment status. ASC advised me that I needed to make 3 consecutive payments which were my normal payments and a quarter payment. Which was really a struggle to pay. I was able to pay twice but by the third payment my funds were exhausted again. I believe that they knew this was not an effective program because it required you to pay almost double your regular mortgage payment.

I attempted three times to modify my loan after the third try I sought other help by August 2008 I was behind 3 months with no way out. I contacted NACA who stepped in prepared a proposal to the lender to reduce my monthly mortgage ACS responded that they received the proposal but would not interrupt foreclosure proceedings. I received a letter dated February 3, 2009 stating that my new mortgage payment was due April 1, 2009 two day latter I recieved a letter from Buonassissi, Henning & LASH P.C. stating that my home had been sold on public auction November 20, 2009 and that I had 10 days from the date of the letter dated February 3, 2009 to vacate the home.

I called the mortgage company they confirmed that my house had been sold on public auction and that I should have been notified, that is was nothing they could do to help me not even extend my stay so that I could find some place to live. I contacted the law firm they would not extend my stay either they acted as if they were oblivious to alot of things. I have found ASC to be very untrustworthy and scam artists.

Oh and for those of you who don't know ASC is owned by Wells Fargo they were originally their collection agency because Wells Fargo handles so many loans ASC branched off into the same business and became very scam artist act collecting loans instead of helping American citizens save their homes. GOD WILL PREVAIL.
