Complaint Review: America's Servicing Company (ASC)

We just lost our home to these scam artists. We got behind in our payments last year. I called and made a payment arrangement to catch the payments up. Everything went fine. We sent payments and they accepted the payments. In November, we recieved a notice from an attorney's office that our home was being forclosed on and would be sold in June. I called to find out what the problem was and was told that no arrangement had been made on my account, we were past due, and would have to pay 3,000 to get back on track. I tried to make arrangements for this amount but the rep refused to set any payment agreement. I tried to get another company to buy out my mortgage and ASC refused to sell it! I tried to send payments and they returned my checks to me saying they were refusing my payments. I called again and said I was trying to make payments and wanted to keep my home. The woman I spoke to on the phone said they would not take a payment from me as it was "too Late". If I had known this company was also scamming other people, I would have paid more attention to who I spoke to and would have hired a lawyer to keep my home. They just get you so fast, you don't have time to think!
