Complaint Review: America's Servicing Company

America's servicing co. is trying to force forclosure on me by adding to my payment. They are trying to force me to escrow taxes and insurance on this loan which is a 2nd mortgage. I escrow my taxes and ins. on my primary mortgage. They now have succeded in making my credit score drop 100 points.

I tried to record their calls, so I can have some evidence, but when I tell them I am recording their calls they say MD is a no record state and hang up.

I sold a rental property last year and in my contract I had a form that said if the property is sold there is no pre-payment penalty. They refuse to give me my $2500.00 pre-payment penalty money back. Therefore I got very gunshy.

When they started billing me for escrow monies, I refused to send it. I have never been late on a payment,but they now have me down for two lates so my credit score has dropped.

This is the worst company that I have ever had the displesure of dealing with. Their employees are awful, rude, and obnoxious. Keeping in mind that my attitude is not at it's best.

I am in the process of writing to the office of thrift supervision, The federal trade commission, and the attorney general. And I am looking for an attorney to take my case to sue them for ruining my credit rating. As an investor this is crucial. I emplore anyone that reads this to get rid of america's servicing co and wells fargo because they are one and the same.
