Complaint Review: America's Servicing Company

My mortgage company sold my loan to ASC in 9/06. Before my loan was sold and even after I have never had a late payment nor have I ever missed a payment. In 8/08 I ran into some vehicle issues and had to make a choice to either repair my vehicle so that I can work and provide for my family or make my mortgage payment. Well I called ASC to discuss my situation with them. The gentleman I spoke with said that I could skip this payment with no risk of foreclosure & he would just put it on the end of my loan. This week while going through refinancing with another company I found that this is NOT the case. I've called ASC again and they said that they don't even offer this as an option! Now I risk not being able to refinance & I risk losing my home. This company is not willing to work with it's customers. The staff doesn't know what products the company even offers! I truly wish a lawsuit could be filed against this company.
