AMERICAN Advisors Group I took a reverse mortgage in July of 2017. My home flooded in August, 2017. I had flood insurance. I was sent $90,000 to repair my home. Lansing Michigan
The checks were made out to me and the reverse mortgage company. They said, via telephone, to endorse the check and send the check to them. They would endorse the check and return it to me. They did not. Over a period of 6 months and hundreds of phone calls and emails I still hav no money. I believe their idea is to claim I have done nothing to repair my home so that they can take it. I am 75. My wife is 71 and has COPD. She is on oxygen 24/7. I need to get out of this reverse mortgage and get the flood insurance money.
