I called in about a week ago to purchase a ticket through AA call center. I was told I was all set and the tickets had been purchased. When I got online to choose my seats, my reservation did not exist! When I called back the call center, I was told that my reservation that was on hold got cancelled due to lack of payment and that no one ever accessed my reservation. Naturally I got pissed bc the fare had gone up. I was told I needed to contact customer relations and that they had no phone #. So I held another reservation and waited to hear back from them. I had to purchase the ticket as the fare kept going up and did not hear back from customer relations until about 4 days later telling me to call back customer service bc they only deal with problems after the flight was completed! I again got even more pissed and called back the CS call center and was told there was nothing they can do bc there was no evidence that i called in. the supervisor basically doubted me bc she said "why would youc all in to purchase the ticket if you held the reservation online?" I did that bc we are going on a cruise and wanted to make sure there was no errors with my purchase!! I was told by the supervisor i would have to email customer relations again and wait to hear back from them bc she cannot do anything to help me! My biggest issue is I gave this rep who booked my tickets for me my credit card # and they held the funds on my credit card but never actually charged it. So now I am wondering what the hell is going on and what did she do with my credit card #. I was told that they cannot charge my card without accessing my reservation....but they did!!!!!!!!!! This is my 1st experience with AA and I will never even use them again. I have no choice right now bc I already purchased tickets with them. AA customer services is crappy and they do not care about their customers and not to mention their supervisors are rude! I keep getting bounced around, accused and treated like crap. Thank you so much for the corporate #...I am going to call them today because no one wants to release their corporate #. I always use (((Redacted))) and their customer service is awesome but i went with AA bc their flights were cheaper...I guess you get what you pay for!

I'm no fan of AA but I've made reservations and bought tickets on their web site countless times without any problems. Why would you call them for as reservation when it costs something and the web site is perfectly adequate?
