My husband and I booked a trip with these idiots for a February 2006 trip to Hawaii to meet our son coming back from Iraq. They booked our entire trip to the WRONG island.

Not only did we end up on Kona rather than Honolulu, we ended up having to make this trip Pro Bowl weekend. Guess what? No hotel vacancies, no car rental availabilities, and absolutely NO help whatsoever from AA Vacations!!

After calling these fools every day we were stranded hoping they could find us a hotel and car, we ended up paying over $8490 out of our own pockets for a vacation we had already paid $3585 for to AA!!!

We were told to send all of our un-used (and worthless) vouchers to the refund department in Fort Worth where everything would be verified as un-used and then refunded no later than 4-6 weeks. We sent the required paperwork on 3/8/06 but nothing was actually entered into their system until 3/29/06!

After too many phone calls to agents and supervisors, we are now being told it will take as long as 90 days to actually recieve only a response - not even an actual refund! The reason? After a reorganization of the Fort Worth office, 2 of the 3 new people have already quit (maybe they couldn't get paid either?) and there is ONE person typing in ALL of the refund requests for the entire company! God forbid anything happens to that person!

Don't book a vacation with these people if you have any other options at all. They will take your money in a flash, send you to the wrong place, leave you stranded, and then hold on to your money like it is their life's blood.

Didn't your tickets specify to which island you were traveling?
