American Arbitration Association ADR.org, AAA Incompetence, Scam, Unprofessional, Unethical New York New York
I filed for Arbitration in July 2016 with ADR.org against Square Inc. for misrepresentation and fraud. After paying the filing fee, the case did not proceed as expected. Square was going to drag me and my company through the process and force us to appear in person in San Francisco and ADR.org didn't perform to standard. They did not want to be copied on any communications while we continued in settlement discussions with Square.
After 2 months of back and forth with Square, and knowing how little ADR.org assisted us both in this case and in previous cases we decided to withdraw from the case and demanded our refund for lack of standard services rendered. We never even knew who the arbitrator was! That is how incompetent ADR.org is.
After demanded a refund from ADR.org, they decided against a refund saying they believe they performed to standard, which is complete and utter hogwash. If you want a competent neutrals working on your case, go elsewhere. If you want mediocre professionals who don't know a bodily orifice from a hole in the ground, go with ADR.org.
