American Breeder Network Aka National Breeders Cruelty to animals, they let puppy a die ripoff Middletown New Jersey
My sister Jan was hired to clean at American Breeder Network. They did not let her in the back rooms right away but when they did she saw puppies that were sad and not very lively. One puppy in particular was thin and listless. My sister tried to encourage the puppy to eat and drink. She told the owner. The puppy seemed to perk up a bit and then started having trouble breathing and had a discharge from her nose. The owner did nothing to help the puppy.
Finally the pup was on her side shivering and having trouble breathing. My sister called the SPCA, they came and took the pup to the vet immediately. (They fired my sister immediately after the SPCA left)
The little pup struggled to live for 5 days then died ThanksGiving Morning.
DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT!! DON'T LET THAT LITTLE PUPPY DIE IN VAIN.
STOP THIS EVIL MAN AND HIS MONEY HUNGRY BUSINESS.

Arlene,
Everyday I hear more and more worst things about this hell that is called a "kennel". I bought a puppy from there and let me tell you there is not a day I don't feel sick to my stomach for stepping into that place. Thank god she is healthy now but who knows what the future brings. I so sorry you had to witness that because if it was me I wouldn't be able to control my anger. I am glad the SPCA was there maybe this will be a step to stopping this horrible disgusting place. I know of a lawyer who is an animal rights activists if you want to contact about this.

NJ Pet Shop Consumer Advocacy Group Can Help
#4Consumer Suggestion
Fri, December 09, 2005
Our organization, NJ Consumers Against Pet Shop Abuse (NJCAPSA), tracks pet shop consumer fraud and abuse, including animal neglect and abuse. We also help consumers with the complaint process when they purchase sick or dying puppies from pet shops or breeders. NJ has one of the strongest puppy lemon laws in the nation.
NJCAPSA has more complaints against American Breeders Network (formerly known as National Breeders Association) than any other pet store in New Jersey.
We received an anonymous email about this case and called the NJ SPCA but no one responded. We need more details to pursue action against this store. Please contact us at info@njcapsa.org with details about this case.
And please visit our website at WWW.NJCAPSA.ORG for more information on this and other pet stores and puppy mills.
Other victims of American Breeders Network are urged to contact us with information or their complaints.
Thank you,
Libby Williams

Arlene - if what you say is true (and I DO believe you!), what did the SPCA do besides take the dog?
Can your sister get in touch with Buddy Amato? He's the Chief ACO for Monmouth County SPCA. He also write a weekly column for the Courier local newspaper. Maybe he'll write about this incident? You can find him by contacting the SPCA at 732-542-0040.
I'd also contact the Asbury Park Press. With the holidays coming, I'm sure that they'd be interested in this story. Especially since the Star Ledger did a HUGE front page article about puppy mills last week.
Don't know if it will do any good, but I'd also contact a lawyer about a wrongful termination suit.
Good luck and keep us posted.
